Summary: Excellent staff, large clean room and beautiful view of Sitka marina from room. Some furnishings need to be upgraded. For example the shower did not work well.

Summary: Pickup at airport by hotel shuttle was excellent. Staff was friendly and efficient at check-in. The room, while very clean, was quite dated and smelled a bit strange but with the window open was much better. The bed was very nice and comfortable! Unfortunately, there was no hot water in the morning and so I was forced to wash as best I could with cold water. When reported to the front desk they simply said ‘sorry about that’ and that they were trying to get it fixed. No offer of a discount or some other concession, which would typically have been offered by a hospitality-focused hotel. The hot water was fixed by the end of the day and worked fine for the next two days. All in all, the accommodations were fine so long as expectations aren’t for anything other than a serviceable room.
